There is “maternal” and then there is “K- Maternal”. There is no measuring tool for cows
like this one; we’ll have to invent a new scale and think of plenty of new words for cows
like 2817. For now she stands alone, she is that unique. This is yet another reason to
get some display pens in the ballroom. If you could see this cow you would be shocked
at the amount of raw power and volume that she loads on to such a fluid, balanced,
perfectly-sized frame with so much femininity and udder quality that you would be at a
loss for comparison. This is the very definition of a “low input/high output” beef
machine and she makes it look easy. There is no sign of TH or PHA near her yet her
2007 natural daughter by Heat Wave brought in $9,500 at weaning time, just the latest
example of what the 2817 cow can do. She barely eats anything but you’ll never see this
one skinny. You simply cannot build one any more right for the times, it can’t be done.
Flush her and see what we mean. This is her ballroom debut but she was destined for
the bright lights. Granny Creek and R.A. Rowe freed her from the pack as the top-seller
of the 2008 Fall Female Sale at K- Ranch, and we couldn’t be more proud to offer a little
slice of her to you. Strong stuff, indeed!

Granny Creeks GCC Whoopi 16Y |
The super-freak feature of the 2009 Chosen Few Sale, this amazing Who Made
Who daughter topped the bred female division at a $38,000 valuation and drew
plenty of admiring stares during the sale preview. She is one impressive piece
of club calf machinery with so many physical blessings that it’s hard to imagine
you could find one you like any more. Whoopi 16Y is so right for the times -
perfectly moderate, unbelievably massive, totally shaggy, powerfully versatile –
that we call her the perfect club calf donor.

Check out this "Wow Cow" in our lineup. She is a young, show-ring proven female with tremendous phenotype. Her smooth design, level hip, and massive capacity are what we look for in producing foundation stock. Auntie M was a class winner at the 2003 National Junior Angus show and was selected Grand Champion Female of the Central Kentucky Angus Summer Preview. Having left two replacement daughters at the deep Myers Angus Farm, Auntie M has proven herself to pass on her extra bone, massive rib, and great profile to her progeny. Initial comments since joining us have been "WOW, that's a lot of Angus cow!" and "just the right size for F1 production."
